Personal Projects

Series, not snapshots

The personal work runs in series, mostly monochrome, mostly Leica, always patient. Three ongoing threads:

Pedestrians crossing Bourbon Street in the morning. Monochrome photograph by Brandon Parish.

The Quarter in Monochrome

New Orleans, walked slowly. Balconies, buskers, cafe tables and the morning crowd, in the black and white the city seems to ask for.

West Texas Stone and Sky

Courthouse squares, chimney ruins, old fort ground and one bare winter tree. The built history of West Texas, standing quiet under big sky.

Work and Hands

People inside their work: the workshop doorway, the donut counter, the kitchen mid conversation. Environmental portraits with nothing posed.
